If you've ever spotted our pretty pink dessert truck at a local event, chances are you've seen me behind the counter, this is my happy place.

I started North Fork Flour Shoppe because I truly believe that dessert should be an experience. Not just something sweet at the end of a meal, but a moment that makes you pause, smile, and maybe even take a photo before that first bite.

Let me tell you a little bit about how I got here.

My Baking Journey

I've been baking professionally since 2008. That's over 17 years of whisking, folding, tempering chocolate, and perfecting buttercream. What started as a passion turned into a full-blown career that I still pinch myself over.

Before launching North Fork Flour Shoppe, I worked as the Executive Pastry Chef at some of Long Island's most well-known high-end restaurants, Prime, Insignia & Tellers

Those years taught me so much about precision, presentation, and what it means to create desserts that truly wow people. I learned to work under pressure, develop seasonal menus, and most importantly, I learned that every single dessert that leaves a kitchen tells a story.

Sharing What I Love

Teaching has always been close to my heart. Since 2011, I've been an instructor at Suffolk Community College, where I teach baking and pastry arts.

There's something magical about watching someone pull their first perfectly risen soufflé out of the oven or finally nail that temperamental macaron shell. I get to witness those moments all the time, and it never gets old.

Teaching keeps me sharp. It keeps me curious. And honestly, my students inspire me just as much as I hope I inspire

What I'm Known For

If I had to describe my signature style in a few words, it would be: fun, colorful, and full of flavor.

I create:

Custom cakes for every occasion (birthdays, weddings, showers, just-because cakes)

Individual desserts that are almost too pretty to eat

Curated dessert tables that make your guests gasp

Sweet and savory treats from our dessert truck

My cakes aren't just pretty on the outside. Every layer is packed with flavor, made with high-quality ingredients, and baked with so much love. I don't do boring. I don't do bland. Every dessert that leaves my kitchen has a little piece of my heart in it.

And if you're wondering about my personal favorite dessert? Ice cream. All day, every day. Give me all the add-ins, all the toppings, all the sprinkles. I'm that person.

My Crew

Now, I can't talk about myself without mentioning my three favorite people in the world: my boys.

I'm a mom to three crazy, wonderful, hilarious boys who also happen to be my VIP taste testers. These kids are brutally honest. If something doesn't taste amazing, they'll tell me. No sugar-coating (pun intended).

They keep me on my toes, keep me laughing, and remind me every day why I do what I do. I want to build something that makes them proud. Something that shows them what it looks like to follow your passion and work hard for your dreams.

And if you're lucky, you might just spot them helping out on the truck at local events. They're learning the ropes, and honestly, they're pretty great!

And yes, we love all the pretty vibes. Especially pink. Always pink.
